Where’s My Chicken?

I did my first shopping at Safeway Dingley last night. Since I don’t like taking plastic bags, I carried my own shopping bag. The check-out cashier managed to fit everything in the bag except for the cooked chicken I bought for dinner. He asked me if he can put it in a plastic bag. I consented and paid for my bill. I took off when I got my docket. Our house is just a short walk to the shopping center so I just walked there and wheeled my shopping bag back. When I got home, I quickly unloaded the bag to prepare for dinner, turned the oven on to reheat the chicken and bread. But where’s the chicken? I checked the fridge and the bag, no chicken. Where the hell did I put my chicken? Oh no, I must have left it in the supermarket. It was on a separate plastic bag. Damn.

Trudging back to the supermarket, I approach the check-out guy (lucky we was still on duty) and without a word he handed me the plastic bag. Now there’s my chicken.
