A comment I made over at Spud Oregon’s Nice4Rice prompted him to tag me. The meme is called 8 facts (about yourself).

The rules:

Each player must post these rules first.

Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.

People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.

At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

So here goes mine.

1. I finished grade school at the top of my class. It was all downhill from there.

2. I am married to an Aussie who is four years younger than me. (But I always tell him its not obvious)

3. In a BIG family of ten children, I am fifth. Beat that. We are like one big community when we all gather together. My parents practised family planting, instead of family planning.

4. I got engaged on the same day space shuttle Columbia shattered into pieces.

5. I hate Vegemite. I call it grime.

6. A friend and I once ~~stalked~~ followed Marc Nelson around Glorietta Mall in Makati Philippines. I did that again with another friend here in Melbourne, with Gary Lyon.

7. In my first year high school, my brother’s classmates who were in fourth year entered me in a Math quiz bee contest and I actually won it but was eventually disqualified because I was only a freshman. The contest is supposed to be for senior students.

8. I once downed a 375 ml of Bailey’s Irish Cream in less than half an hour. I was sick to death the next day. I promised Shane I won’t drink again but hey, promises are made to be broken. )

eheheh! “vegemite, rolly polly, vegemite coming down…” (do you know this song?? well it’s close to that, but i vividly remember the melody) i don’t like vegemite either.

Eight not so interesting facts about me
